The Sangean RS330 opens your eyes to a clock radio that looks as good as it sounds. Pair the sleek, contemporary RS-330 with its optional RS332 Stereo Extension Speaker and you'll never wake up on the wrong side of the bed again. The popular Proton RS330 and RS332 clock radio sets were made by Sangean for Proton for years and has been one of our best selling items. Sangean continues to distribute this same radios under their name. Same as the Proton clock radios except the name. Superior sound quality sets the RS330/RS332 apart. The system's carefully engineered four-watt per channel amplifiers and full-range five-inch speakers deliver consistently rich, room-filling sound, And a digital tuner with 24 station presets makes it even easier to hear what you want, when you want. Most welcome, among the many convenient features, is the dual alarm, which allows independent programming of two separate wake-up calls to either a pre-set radio station or a beep tone. And to help take the "alarm" out of the clock, the RS-330's volume ramp-up eases you into your day by gradually increasing the signal volume to a preset level. An especially easy-to-find snooze bar puts an extra five minutes of sleep close at hand. For even greater versatility, the RS-330 features a programmable sleep timer which automatically shuts off the radio after any time interval up to six hours in length. Stereo audio input and output jacks add flexibility and are complemented by a headphone jack for private listening. To ensure that early birds and night owls alike don't miss a minute, the RS-330/RS332's large, easy-to-read digital display features a built-in light sensor which automatically adjusts the display brightness to compensate for ambient light. A separate brightness control knob allows further customization of the display to the environment. Additional thoughtful details include easy-to-locate back-lit front-panel control buttons, a super capacitor backup system which holds current time and alarm settings in the RS330/RS332's memory during power interruptions. For those with control issues, the Proton RS-332 Extension Stereo Speaker offers power sleepers independent alarm and snooze/sleep timer controls, as well as a separate search function for radio presets and a full-function display. Please note: This radio is now being distributed under the Sangean name in the US. Sangean manufactured these radios for Proton and is now distributing under their name. Current inventory includes Sangean RS-330 and RS-332. Brands are interchangeable. You may add a Sangean RS-332 to an existing Proton RS-330.
